Our History

2002

Initially focused on supplying concrete to construction projects through the use of mobile concrete mixers in and around Lincoln, NE.
When the mobile mixers weren’t delivering concrete they were used to produce large wetcast retaining wall blocks.

2004

Identified the need for smaller, decorative retaining wall blocks and developed a wetcast process to produce them in Lincoln, NE.

2006

Developed a dry cast production process for unique natural stone designs on retaining wall blocks.
Moved the business to Norfolk, NE.

2010

Integrated proprietary technology to create a concrete fire pit kit with a natural stone appearance.

2012

Started developing and manufacturing mortarless stone veneer products.

2015

Entered an agreement to produce and market a pier block system, later known as Handi Block.
Developed and launched several paver systems - Barnwood, Cass Stone, and Rundle.
Developed and launched a multitude of outdoor living kits for use in building in outdoor spaces - seat walls, columns, raised gardens, etc.

2016

Officially named and launched the ADORN® Mortarless Stone Veneer product line, introducing the Ledgestone Series.
Opened a new manufacturing plant in Pittsburgh, PA.

2019

Developed a pin-pile footing replacement product, known as HANDI PIER®.
Received ICC certification for HANDI PIER®.
Added the second profile to the ADORN Series: Shadowledge.

2020

Began assisting with the marketing and sales efforts for ZipUP Ceiling® and UnderDeck®.
Expanded the Norfolk, NE facility to meet demand.
Invested in new automated equipment for the ADORN product line.

2021

Rebranded to NCP Industries, encompassing ADORN® Mortarless Stone Veneer, Handi Foundations, Natural Concrete Hardscapes, ZipUP Ceiling®, and UnderDeck®.
Relocated the Pittsburgh, PA plant to Butler, PA, focusing on hardscapes and HANDI Block manufacturing.
Launched the third ADORN Stone profile: Granite Series.

2022

Received ISO 9001:2015 Certification.
Launched the new black serrated ZipUP panel.

2023

Re-engineered, tested, and launched ADORN Stone into a lighter-weight panel using post-consumer recycled materials.
Launched the fourth ADORN Stone profile: Ridgestone.
Launched the new ZipUP Woodgrain panels - Beach Wood and Coastal Sequoia
Entered a licensing agreement with Carbon Limit to engineer the ECO2LUXE product line using CaptureCrete®.
In partnership with Premier Outdoor Living, launched the new ADORN Stone Premier Series with CaputreCrete® technology.

2024

Moved all hardscapes production to NCP Industries PA facility to focus on ADORN in NE.
Introduced and trademarked HANDI Brix, a construction project block.
Added on to the manufacturing facility in NE
Developed the first weather resistant underdeck lighting product, LumaDome™ for a new NCP Outdoor division.
Developed AIA educational courses for Mortarless Stone Veneer and Underdeck Water Management Systems.

Won Best of IBS at the 2025 International Builders Show for Best Outdoor Product ADORN® Stone ECO₂LUXE®
