Throughout his professional journey, Peter has amassed a wealth of experience and accomplishments. His career began in sales while attending Mankato State University, working at Valley Ski Haus. He then went on to hold sales, management, and buying positions at Terry Peak Ski & Sport in Rapid City, Deadwood, SD, and Billings, MT. For 16 years, Peter served as Sales/Manager/Buyer for Outpost Sunsport, a specialty ski and outdoor furniture store in Fort Collins, CO. Peter's love for the outdoors and adventure is reflected in his personal life as well. He and his wife, Monica, have enjoyed the company of a lively Afghan Hound and two amazing rescue cats over the years. Currently, they find joy in the neighbor's dog, along with the daily visits of squirrels and birds to their backyard. Together, they explore their shared passion for cooking and experimentation with spices from around the world. Their love for travel has taken them on culinary adventures, allowing them to explore different cuisines and flavors.
In his spare time, Peter indulges in bike riding, enjoying the scenic beauty of his hometown of Fort Collins. He is proud to have completed a challenging 14-mile bike ride on Highway 5, from Echo Lake to the observatory parking lot at an impressive altitude of 14,000 feet. This accomplishment showcases his determination and love for outdoor activities.
Peter and Monica both have a strong desire to give back to the community and engage in community service opportunities. Monica's involvement in Rotary and their joint participation in fundraising events for the Alzheimer Foundation of Northern Colorado reflect their commitment to making a positive impact.
